Creating a Video Presentation
In addition to everything else, PowerPoint is an efficient tool for creating a video presentation. If you wish, you can make a video of your speech by creating backgrounds for it with PowerPoint. A narrated presentation is a good option when explaining the matter briefly by text is challenging. For example, presentations with many diagrams work better when they are explained through speaking. Without an explanation, the charts can be hard to interpret.
PowerPoint also allows you to attach separate explanations to individual slides. A narrated video is created by narrating each slide individually and then saving the presentation as a video.

The Objective
When you have added the narration to the slide, an audio file icon will appear in the lower right corner of the slide. You can listen to your recorded narration by clicking on the icon.

In older versions of PowerPoint, the Record tab isn't automatically available. Let's make sure you have it. It should be located between Slide Show and Review tabs.
If the tab simply is not there, follow the instructions below to make it visible:

Add freeform recordings to your slide(s). Every recording is different and can contain narration, animation, and highlights made by laser pointer and drawing tools.
