### Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 is Microsoft's name for the latest version of its Office software. It differs from the previous versions in that it comes with a monthly fee that allows you to install Office software on several devices of yours.

You can check that Word is on your computer by trying to start it.

Task: If necessary, install Word

If you can't find the program on your computer, you can install it through the Microsoft 365 service. Most employers also offer Microsoft 365 software to their employees.

Task: Check the version of the software you are using

Check that the version of Word you are using is sufficiently recent. The course uses the Microsoft 365 versions.

Task: Change the language of the software if necessary

You can change the language of the software used in the Office environment if you wish. Often, the need to change the language arises when Office selects the wrong language when installing the software, for example, based on the language of the computer's operating system.
